Installation

Using Marketplace

1. Login with your admin data.

2. Click "Search for new apps".

3. Look for "Jenkins Plugin".

4. Select "Jenkins Plugin".

5. Click "Install".

6. The plug-in will now be installed automatically.

Using Jira

1. Select the gear icon in the top navigation bar in Jira.

2. Click "Manage apps".

3. Enter "Jenkins Plugin" in the "Search Marketplace" field.

4. Select "Jenkins Plugin".

5. Click "Install".

6. The plug-in will now be installed automatically.

Configuration 

Connect to the Jenkins server 

To connect to the Jenkins server, the Jenkins plugin needs your Jenkins URL.
To add the Jenkins server URL, follow the instructions below.

From the top navigation bar in Jira, click “Apps”.

Open

Click “Manage your apps”.

Open

Click on “Jenkins Connector Configuration”.

1. Enter your Jenkins URL.

2. Click on "Test Connection".

3. Click on "Save".

Add Jenkins Connector User Settings

1. Click on your Profile Settings.

2. Click Jenkins Connector User Settings

1. You should now see your Jenkins URL under "Jenkins URL". If this is not the case, follow the steps in "Connect Jenkins Server".

2. Enter your Jenkins username.

3. Enter your Jenkins API Token (Authenticating scripted clients ).

4. Click on "Save & Test".

To make sure that the Jenkins plugin can connect to your Jenkins server, enable the URL https://vroutersystem.de and port 443.
