  1. Click on the settings icon

  2. Click on the menu option “Apps”

  2. Select the tab “General configuration”

  3. Enter the URL of your MOCO instance: e.g. https://mymoco.mocoapp.com

  4. Click on the button “Save & test URL”

  1. When the URL is successfully saved and tested, you get a message, as you can see in the screenshot.

You can now tell the users that they can configure their personal connection settings.

 

Advanced Synchronization (optional)

Unfortunately, we cannot promise that every work log event in Jira will result in the data being synchronized with MOCO, as we work with webhooks here.

Atlassian itself also states that delivery by webhooks is not guaranteed (Webhook ).

  1. Click on the settings icon

  2. Click on the menu option “Apps”

  1. Select the menu option “Settings”

  2. Select the tab “Advanced Synchronization”

  3. To activate the synchronization to MOCO, using other time trackers, check the “Activated” checkbox like in the screenshot

  4. To ensure synchronization to MOCO, set the toggle to checked like in the screenshot

  5. To ensure synchronization to MOCO, select a Customer

    1. Is a required field

    2. Has to be selected before you can select Project and Task

  6. Select a Project

    1. Is requiered to ensure synchronization to MOCO

    2. has to be selected before you can select a Task

  7. Select a Task

    1. Is requiered to ensure synchronization to MOCO

  8. Click on “Save” to set the issue default value for

  1. When the “Advanced Synchronizaiton” settings are successfully saved, you get a message, as you can see in the screenshot.

Time tracking provider

Only necessary if the tracking provider was not automatically changed or Jira displays multiple time logs to you.

  1. “Work log” as Jira default.

  2. “MOCO time log” from Moco Plugin for Jira Cloud.

  1. Click on Settings, next to your Profile Icon

  2. Click on the menu option “Issues”

  1. Select “Time tracking”.

  1. Click on “Time tracking provider: Jira provided time tracking” to open the dropdown list of options.

  2. Select “MOCO Time Tracking”. You get a confirmation message if everything was successfull.
